Difficulty opening passenger door
So my mom has a 98 New Beetle. For some reason the passenger door is super hard to open or close. There does not appear to be an alignment issue as when the door is closed it appears alligned.
The door does not bind or make any noises when opening or closing either. I looked up and down the door for something hanging up - any ideas  TIA!

Lubrication, first of all. These cars love it.
If I don't do my doors for a while they get noticeably stiffer to close and open.
