Cool newer front bumper on older beetle 05-08 on a 2000 beetle

I like the new style bumpers

I was wondering if I made used my own screws. Does anyone know if the newer style beetle bumper will mount up to the older 98-04 beetle body?

Im not sure.

Im not sure if I should go for it!

That would be quite a bit of work, Turbo S bumper would be easier/cheaper.

The new style cars also have different headlights and headlight buckets so those would have to be added in as well. Certainly possible, but expensive.

If you have money and time, it can be done.

Otherwise, for all intents and purposes, don't bother with retrofitting the 2006+ body (fenders, bumper covers, all lights, and rocker panels) to a 1998-2005 model.
