eBay , or here on the org, or at VW Vortex

There is (or was just recently last week) someone selling the front bumper from a Turbo S in the classifieds parts section here.

Do you already have a Turbo S? If not, you need a lot more for a conversion than just the fascia.

You asked, my friend. I just gave you the info. that you asked for. You can get the bumper used, maybe on the Vortex or something, if someone is parting out a Turbo S. out. BUT If you want a new one, and don't want to wait forever.... there you have it folks. Don't shoot the messenger.

Oh, and Hestersu is right....there is more to it than just buying the part. If you don't already have a Turbo S., it is quite the project.

If the dealer is selling them for $800 each, I would say go there, if that's what you want to do. You may also check in the classified section on this board. A month or so ago, there was a guy that was selling the front bumper fro a Turbo S. Brand New, for like $450 or something in that realm. I don't know if it sold or not, but if you PM him, he might be able to hook you up.

If I can find the link I will post it, in a minute.....

Okay, here you go... I would PM BleachedBora, he is the guy that is selling it.

You would still need to paint the bumper from the dealer but 1st vw has them for 481 and change. Shipping might hurt a bit

Bumper cover - 1998-05 W/turbo s model - 1998-05 W/turbo s model MSRP Your Price
02-05 $650.00 $481.65

Yes, I saw that too, just the other day, but thier shipping is over $100 per piece.
I don't know about Texas, but shipping Colorado would have been $300.

Those aren't actually turbo S parts, they're the drivergear Votex kit. The round grills and blinker cutouts are the dead giveaway in front, the rear, i dunno.. But that is a steal for them... i wish i still had a nb...

the drivergear is a much cheaper option, i did a ts conversion a while back on my 01, and even with used parts, i was deep into the thousands.
