VIN Number
Hi, Just got myself a New Beetle - Metalic Blue 2001.
Its luuuuuverly. Please can somebody tell me where I can find the VIN plate, so that I can check it, against the documents. Many Thanks Bernie

At the drivers side windshield at front of dash. Look through the windshield. Also, look on the drivers side door post.

There should also be one stamped in the body somewhere , I'll research this and let you know what I find.

The 2001 metallic blue paint is actual "Techno Blue". And it is beautiful. I had a 98 that color. Welcome to the org.
