what do you mean by pinstripes? like up the hood and over the roof stripes, bold stripes along the base of the doors, or like a beltline, thin stripe just under the window? or something totally different lol...

hot pink might clash with the gecko green... lavender might even be a bit of stretch, but better... that is all IMHO though...

lol i would call the hood ones racing stripes, too, but you never know who calls what, what

i'm not sure what color i would go for... we need one of our resident photoshop experts to do a little mock up for us...

In just doddling with the image in Preview on my mac and drawing simple lines on it to compare colors, I prefer the look of a more pastel color, either pastel pink or lavender, hot pink does clash...

Oh,sorry...

I think the right shade of pink would look nice
Maybe two stripes using both colors, running along one another...That would be cool.

I may not be the most classy myself(lots and lots of stripes),but that's a great idea ,Cyber green is the best color for for your color choice(in my opinion),very tasteful, lovin' it

Side note-highlighting front and rear emblems with some old school striping will make a huge impact

Its just soooo cool.

The Vw emblems on the hood and hatch, highlighting them with pinstripping makes 'em stick out

There's a white MK4 runnin' around town with some pinstripes around the emblems, different shades of red,its pretty stellar.

I just bought the stripes 02 in pink, they are gorgeous! Did some research online and found a free shipping coupon. I haven't put them on yet, but they seem like they would easily come off if I ever mature.

personally i would not do pink on green, i would only do a "color" on a neutral, like white, silver, black. i would only do stylized pinstriping like pictured above. on gecko i would do something neutral, like silver and black perhaps. i don't think a standard pinstripe really lends itself well to the beetle. just my opinion.
