Hmm. Tough call.

How many cans of paint do you think you used?

And how long until your next scheduled tire-rotation?

WTF did you paint your wheels with to make this a concern? lol

It won't matter at all, most tire shops balance to around .25oz off anyway, sometimes as high as .5oz

I don't see where a coat of paint would make a difference.

I haven't even done it yet haha
one of my fellow vdubbers suggested it.
but I know that if I were to do that, they'd just scuff up the newly painted wheels.

If you were to use 10-12 cans per wheel, a balance would be HIGHLY recommended.

If you are going to spray paint your wheels, please remember to remove the current balance weights before you paint so you get a nice finish. Then have your wheels rebalanced.

If you just spray over any current weights, those will be removed the next time you have to be balanced and will leave an ugly mark on your otherwise nice wheels.
