Default Replacing the headlight housing

So after a minor accident, I'm left with replacing the driver side headlight on my 03 Type S beetle. So I guess my question is, are all non HID headlights the same. Or will non turbo headlights not fit into turbo applications?

The headlight I'm trying to replace is a regular halogen bulb.

Technically speaking, there are 5 types of headlights out there.

1) for all 98-05 Beetles
2) For all Turbo S Beetles 02-04
3) For all Oem Xenon equipped Beetles 04-05
4) For all 06+ Beetles Without City Light
5) For all 06+ Beetles With City Light.

Since yours is a TUrbo S, you need style number 2. Syle 1 will fit and work just fine, but you will not have the citylight (parking light) in the actual headlight on the one that you replace.

All non HIDs are not the same, because of the change for the 06+ models. Also again is the option for the city light.

I think that should answer it all for you.

Ok Thanks alot. I figure I can just buy one without the city light. I'll live. I appreciate the help.
