What do you mean by extend? Do you want the wheel openings bigger?

I only know of one person that has done this before to the stock fenders, but it took a lot of body work to turn them into a widebody kit. He cut the lip on the fender then spaced them off with bolts and then fiberglassed.

You might be better just trying to find a Beetlecup kit somewhere.

I'll look for his thread, but don't know that he ever posted his process pictures, think I just saw them in an album at a car show.

Default Thanks for the help

Yeah that is something that I'm looking to do I know you're out of Texas I've read a lot of your postings you do a great job here helping everybody out. Whenever I get back from Iraq I will try to bring both of my Beatles down to Texas for one of your get-togethers. The blue beetle has already taken a second place in one show and our orange one is still under construction but it will be done soon. So just want to say thanks to everybody for this great place to ask questions. oh One quick thing do you know anywhere in Texas where I can get my orange one on air ride? Thanks again.
