Default whats good for the dash board care?

ok. my car , even before i bought , had ridiculous
amount of scratches all over the dash board and door holder.
and what i did was scrach all the peeled off spots with my nails.
not only thats not the permanent way to take care of interior
but excessive amount of sun in so cal doesnt help to keep it
clean either. does anybody know any good product for interior
on new beetle?

Look, there's a ton of cleaners able to keep your dash nice and clean. Any decent interior cleaner that states it is safe for plastic and vinyl will work without harming the dash. Just use a soft cloth They still will not remove the ugly scratches. I bought my NB a year ago. Even though it did not have a huge amount of scratches yet, I knew that it eventually would. That coupled with the amount of heat that it generates and the dust that's always on it forced me to take drastic measures. I bought a dash cover that is really nice that covers the complete dash. It is perforated and looks sporty. No, scratches, no heat. I shake it out and vacuum it once a week when I clean my car, and use a dash duster. Problem solved. Now for most of the NB owners out there who HATE dash covers, I don't know what to tell you all.
