Default Are "sticker" emblems bad for paint?

Sorry if this is in the wrong area ^_^;

Before I get these emblems anywhere near my car. Will these harm the paint after a while or if I try to take them off/change them?

Autobot Emblems

I wanted to put them under each side mirror.

Why? Does your New Beetle turn into an airplane or a nuclear submarine or something?

Wont hurt the paint. Probably has double sided tape on them (which is good).

If you ever take them off and some of the sticky tape stays, use a pencil eraser to get it off.

Paint under the sticker/label/decal will get less exposure to the elements/sun and therefore fade more slowly than exposed paint. Then you will see an shadow of the sticker when removed.

Results may vary, check with your doctor before applying to see if it's right for you.

My experience is that with dark or bright colors the fading around where the sticker was is more obvious. With my white beetle, I just polished the area and it blended in. Might wokr fot other colors as well. As far as sticker residue, if the pencil eraser method doesn't work, try a product called Goo Gone. Denatured alcohol and lighter fluid have done the trick as well.

Both of you- knock it off.

I have decals all over my car (the black dots). I had to remove one and place it elsewhere. It was relatively easy to remove, especially if you use a hair dryer. It seems to peel easier.

The only difference would be again, with the elements. But I don't plan on removing mine, so...
