Default Should I fix or replace?

So tonight I noticed a tear in my front bumper, it's not that bad but it bugs the crap out of me. My question is, would it be cheaper to buy a new front bumper and have it painted, or have this one fixed. I should mention that the other side has some serious abrasions which would most likely need to be addressed before the bumper is painted. If I needed to replace it, I wouldn't be opposed to a Votex bumper, but would it look as good on a Turbo S? Advice, tips, please?

It's just a little crack, don't worry about it. The paint will never match 100% and that is a way bigger problem than a tiny crack on the bottom of the bumper that nobody will ever notice.

Your car probably has bigger problems than that believe me.

Wow, you are wanting to repair that little thing? Mine has a huge crack in it and has since I got the car. That front bumper gets scraped up so easy that, to me, there is no point worrying about it. Its flimsy plastic. You'll fix it and then the next week you'll scrape it up.

Here's the thing, the car is in basically perfect cosmetic condition other than this. I wouldn't worry about it much, but it throws off the entire curvature of the bumper, making it instantly noticeable in any light.

I'd say... It is obviously a concern to you. For your own peace of mind, I think you should fix it.

I totally feel your pain! And it sucks.
Those little dings/dents/scratches/cracks ... they tend to add up. Once you let one go, you will let 2 go, then 3. Zoomer, my 2003.5, has several places in this condition. Ran out of money trying to keep Zoomer in 'just off the assembly line' condition. Fixed one thing, got another problem.

Not sure what to tell you though.

Cracks, dings and scratches are just part of a car aging. The new paint on the bumpers will never match the fenders 100% and I think that will look way worse than a little crack that nobody will ever notice.

The factory paint is also extremely durable. I've never seen aftermarket paint hold up like the original paintjob can.

This is so true. Got a new hood 2.5 years ago. The paint chips so much easier than the stock stuff.
