Default Body Fastener question: PLEASE HELP!

Hello,

When I got my NB (2000 GLX) last August, the bottom front bumper valance/fog light surround was trashed. I finally got around to replacing it this weekend, and MAN was that a job... the whole "front clip" had to come off (fenders and front bumper). Long story short: it's all done and looks like new.

But...

I have 2 body fasteners left over. I wouldn't worry about that, but these are the big ones and I fear they're important. They're black screws, I'm guessing M6, a little over an inch long, with a very wide head and size 25 (I think...) Torx slot. And, they have a spacer on them, which is like a cup washer and a short cylinder... spacer? They are the exact same screws that go all around to attach the body panels under the lip of the hood, over the top of the fenders and the front bumper. Those are all in place, however, and I still have 2 left. Open your NB's hood, and you'll see tons of 'em.

PLEASE, does anyone know where 2 more of those would have come from? I was WAY deep in this car... fenders off, inner fender liners, headlights, headlight mount cans, etc. ... you know how one thing leads to another. Absolutely no chance of these being extra... they definitely came off the car yesterday and DIDN'T go back on today!

Thank you,

Jer

They go inside the fender wells...one on each side.
When looking under driver side wheel well, look up and to the left...you'll see the bracket, it's where the fender joins the bumper cover...

Once you find that one, you'll be able to find the one on the pass side
