My 2004 New Beetle didn't have a cargo cover behind the rear seat. I picked one up at a wrecking yard today in excellent shape, but not sure what year it came from. It snaps into place fine, but rests at an angle. I looked at a co-worker's car, and it looks like the rear plastic panels in the 'trunk' flair out on her car where the back end of the panel rests. Mine isn't the same.
I can get it to sit straight (juggling the hatch from the inside and resting it on the rubber stops), but would like a more reasonable solution. When I look on Ebay, they list the same ones for all years. Am I missing something? Any suggestions? |
