In the rear of your car next to the spare tire well there should be a sticker that has that info on it, My interior is grey and it shows a code of ZC. Not sure if mine is flannel grey or not ( the window label only says Grey partial leather interior), however SEM paint has a color that is pretty spot on and it's called Presidio.

Yes, that is where you will find the trim code. You will also find the same sticker in the Maintenance section of your manual, Booklet 1.1 Note: trim code, not paint code. TMK a paint code for the trim is not published, however, many manufacturers only stock one color of certain trim parts, and have a special paint to recolor to the original trim code color when needed; GM is an example. Check with your dealer to see if he can provide you an equivalent paint code and source. Note this is either a special paint, or a bonding agent is used, for painting non-metal parts.

Yes, that is the factory nomenclature for the typical grey interiors found in all NBs thru at least '05.

Dealer was no help as far as any paint code for this color, the z code just says I have a black interior (which doesn't have anything to do with the console. vw doesn't have a touch up paint for this so he claims.
Where do I find this Presidio paint?

I got mine from here but I'm sure there are other places that sell it.
The part # is 15163 and you WILL need an adhesion promoter for this paint.

I bought the SEM paint and boy you hit the nail on the head with that color, it is the right shade (wanted to post this in case a future reader is curious) I purchased it through a local body paint supply house, instead of the ''sand free'' they odered me the plastic prep and that's only a spray on wipe off cleaner. I'm going to get the sand free (plastic primer)before I proceed. (I only did a small piece to test the color)
