Default opening behind rocker panle?

Does anybody know what these ports are on the back of the rocker panels? Can you remove them? I have this bend/ding in my rocker panel (right in front of this opening) and was hoping to maybe push out the dent from behind through this opening. I can't find it described in any of my VW books. See attached pic.

Thanks!
George

Good luck pushing a dent out thats some fairly thick metal on the rockers not you typical sheet metal.

Undercoat plug. Honestly just go to a body shop before you do more damage. I read your story on Vortex. You and DIY don't seem to mix very well.

You mean that's how they squirt undercoating into the inside of the car? So these things just pop out?
