Default New Beetles Rock - Damage repair

Wife had a senior moment and hit the garage door on the way in. Go figure.

Tried buffing and the latex paint on the bumper said "no". Goof Off and 30 seconds of work and the repair was completed. $60 for a new light and good as new. Check the garage door damage. Sweet!

You have a Double Yellow Color Concept?

I'm glad to hear the damage wasn't too bad.

Good job! TG it wasn't worse. Don't forget the sealer and the wax. They are gone now too!

Most times when folks think they've done major damage to their car in a scrape ( garage door, fense, etc.) what it usually means is that that have a transfer of paint form the thing they have come in contact with, usually paint! Goof off is great for this as Bob has shown. I detail cars for a living and this stuff comes in real handy for paint scrapes, for tar and any number of things that get on your car. One of the best uses for Goof Off is the marks on the rocker panels that one cannot get off with just normal car soap or other porducts. Good job!
