Question Repairing damaged ABS part

Got my wing today. Arrived damaged. Both support posts are crushed. I think i can repair it though. Has anyone used Bondo or similar??? If i can shave the plastic and smooth it down a bit i could use filler and sand it down to a near perfect match. I'm pretty handy with sandy. I did well in the sculpting portion of art class.

Is this advisable? Any helpful hints? Anyone had to do something like this?

I have a feeling the seller won't be very helpful on correcting the problem. Though it's probably his fault it's damaged. The box used to send the wing was an atrocity. I may have to post negative rep. Not sure yet.

Be careful using body filler. If the body filler and the plastic expand/contract at different rates in temperature extremes, you will get cracks...Make sure whatever you use has a flexing agent in it.

Try the shipper first, then take it to the seller.

Can't help with the technical side of it though.
