How do you change a trunk emblem/badge/logo on an '05?

Just changed the front emblem on my beetle and found 2 posts that went down into the hood, so the simple string method didn't work very well. Anyone have any experience changing the trunk emblem on a hardtop '05?

The trunk was much harder than the hood for me. I used a combination of floss, goo gone and a screwdriver. I covered the end of the screwdriver with tape. Other people have used a hair dryer. The hood was easier because I could pull on the edges and then the rest just came off.
