Has anyone tried to spray paint their seats? I have a NB 98 in red with a beige interior that I would like changed to red. Has anyone with fabric seats tried this? Do share your experiences and results. Much appreciated.

Honestly, save your money and just buy black seats. We did a "death to tan" on my friend's bug, she chose to use fabric paint and it didn't work out so well.. it just didn't look very good. It's cheaper, but you get what you pay for. It looks cheap.

I tried Simply Spray on my beetle- a 2-tone effort.... disaster I eventually got some black seats from a fellow orger... all is better now

I know Dupli-Color makes a fabric and vinyl paint/dye. I used it to spruce up some black carpet I bought out of a slavage beetle- never used it on seats though. CLICK HERE for the Dupli-Color site and info on their product.

Even If I dyed it one color, the end result would still be well below par. Your best bet is to find a wrecked beetle and get the seats out of them. There's a fellow SC orger (Kurt/Supercharged98) who knows of a salvage yard in your vicinity that has a myriad of beetles- there might be some available there. If you wanna send Kurt a PM CLICK HERE.

I'd also check the "Marketplace" section here and see if there's any available.

All the best to you on your quest to make your beetle better
