Show me your "Flames"

I am having the front half of Powder done in flames. Can you all post some pics of your flams so I can get an idea of what I want? I have gone thru the pic thread but will take forever to get a good taste of them. I was looking at something like sue's bug (before the accident).

my flames.

all painted with House of Kolor with tons of pearl added to the paint.

i knew i wanted my flames long and flowing and not short and choppy. i didn't want the look of the car to compete with too many short flames in the paint.

i kept my flames just to the front end beings that people love to door ding cars, and the new beetle has nothing on its side to protect from that.

Not exactly flames, but I guess sometimes they are classified as such.

I did the opposite - I didn't want any custom paint on my front clip so I had the custom work done on the hood and doors.

Kind of came in usefull when I had my accident because they had to replace the front and drivers side fender and all they had to do was paint it black and wetsand...however they ended up having to redo some door because of a small buckle.

I would definately keep the flames off the rocker/running board (whatever you want to call that portion under your door) - I had a misshap and it was quite expensive to redo the custom paint there.
