Best way to paint new Bumper cover?

Hi all, I think I am going to order a new Bumper cover from 1stvwparts.com (some uninsured jack off ran into my the back of my Bug last year) I am guessing it comes unpainted. Any suggestions for painting it?

I just want it to look OEM, no ricer crap. Would a body shop be able to match the paint and how much should they charge me? Thanks!

Phil, if you have three weeks and 60 dollars, you can do it yourself. that is also assuming you have somewhere to paint it. get two cans of paint from automotivetouchup.com at 20 a can, variety of sandpaper, two cans of clear, and a can or two of primer and you should be set.

if you buy all that stuff, post a picture and I'll tell you what to do next.
