Prepwork started, gathering supplies, need YOUR help!

Ok here's the status of the grasshopper repaint, Im ordering either a Fuji 9100-G2 GT-X2, or a DEVGTI620G GTi Millenium HVLP Gravity Feed Spray Gun, not sure which yet, going to just resell them on fleabay when Im done.

I also got a 4hp 60 gallon tank air compressor which I hope is enough to keep a steady stream of paint.

What I do need is paint and clear coat. This is where I need the NB.org help. I need comments and preferably prices/links for vw paint. I have no clue where to begin looking for vee dub paint's. I will be having a black coat (code l041/a1) and platinum grey stripes and side markers (code ldx7/2r) and I dont even know what kind of clearcoat to use.

As usual, any help is appriciated! Cant wait to get started and get some pics up!

There are usually a couple of shops in town that sell supplies to the autobody community. IMHO those guys would be the best ones to ask because that's all they do. They would also be able to tell you about cure times between painting and adding clear coat, as well as techniques for removing dust in between coats and color sanding.
