Default Spray on bra

Check this out. Saw this posted over on the Vortex.

Duplicolor Spray on Bra

It's basically a temporary spray on bra to protect your paint. It dries in less than a minute. It stays on until you wash it off with either a power wash or with soap and water. Rain, snow or moisture won't affect it.

Sounds like a great option for those long highway trips. Perfect for heading to a car show or a New Beetle gtg.

Does sound good in theory. I wouldn't want to risk it on the way to a show though. Painters tape is cheaper and guarantees coverage and a bit of padding, no?

Painters tape can help, but just very difficult to apply. Especially if you don't have a bra.

For instance, with my body kit, I can't fit a bra. I can still use the hood piece, but not the one for the bumper. That's a huge area to try and cover with painter's tape.

But than you'd have to scrub the car AT the show, right? who wants to do that.

I've noticed they make really wide painters tape nowadays. Might make things easier.

Still, it's a good though Peteyboy. I'm not tryin to knock ya.

Yeah, you'd have to wash it before the show. But for a show where you travelling a long distance via highway, chances are, you're going to wash it when you get there anyway. So not a big deal. And from the sounds of it, it's not like you need to give it a major scrubbing. So not bad at all!

LOL alright alright.

I do think this is a neat product; I know I'd want to try it out on a beater car before i put it onto my car... i wonder how it looks? Hmm... do I smell another product test coming my way??

Well... while the off-topic posts got me thinking... this is actually kind of on topic

What if you used Liquid Latex instead (on your car... I already use it on boobs )?
Seems like that would be an interesting protectorant... and it should peel right off. Though... I sure ain't gonna be the first one to test that last statement.

When I first met my husband, he had a 1988 Daihatsu Charade that had horrible road rash on the hood.

He took some black spray paint, and painted a bra on it.

It looked NICE...everyone thought it was a real bra until they got up close and felt that it was just black metal instead of vinyl.

Have you used this new stuff yet?
I don't think that I would be comfortable spraying anything on my paint.

Check out the Griot's Garage spray-on bra. It sprays on and leaves a rubber-like film that can be peeled off in one sheet. I know a couple people that have used it and absolutely raved about it.
