Need me some parts....

Sense I got some great fast response on the tail-lights....I was wondering if people could give me some help on these other parts.

They are mostly all minor cosmetic parts.


1. A new antenna? (saw some short nub kinds on ebay for cheap...anyone know if they work well?)

2. Inside door handles. (paint is peeling)

3. New shift boot. (found a guy who will make one from real leather for about $30 on ebay. Is that a good idea?)

4. Cover piece for trunk. I don't have the flap/ hard curtain that covers me trunk from peeping toms.

5. A new glove box door. The handle broke on mine. I can still open it, but I have to prey my finger in and push down the 2 little levers that the handle normally pushes to open the clove box.

6. New cup holders, mine are cracking and the clips are breaking off that hold them into the center console.

Thats all i can think of right now....

Ha, not so much of a response now, huh?

1. The best antenna to get is a Honda S2000. Seriously. Go to VWVortex.com's classifieds and search in the MKIV forum, someone's always selling one. They fit and get great reception.

2. You can order these from aiwana.com, if nobody has them. Pretty cheap.

3. $30 is alright. Overcamhead's mom makes some on here, too. I forget how much they are, but I got one from her (black leather with red stitching) and it's made real well.

4. Dealer? Occasionally one will show up on Vortex. Actually, i saw one a couple weeks ago, might still be there. It was black.
