If everything goes as planned, my next time out will be never

I should be transferring within the next year, and we don't have any major underways scheduled for a while

I keep eyeballing the area where mine is sagging, waiting anxiously to put my painting ideas into action!

On another note, if I could get a few more pics from a '98, that would be great! Ewa, they said the pics you sent were too dark. I guess I didn't think so because I know the car so well (says the guy who didn't notice the lack of rear lights).

Thanks to whoever can provide those!

Sent you a PM. For a quick answer to your questions here, they're $265 for either style, will indeed fit an '01 (once the sunroof version is made), are unpainted in either white or black gelcoat (I know the shop defaults on white, but had tried black a couple of times), and is unpainted.

Thanks for your interest! My count shows you as number 9 out of the 10 we need!

Anyone else? Bueller... Bueller...

Frye?

I am interested, have we found out if the indentation for the glasses case and OS! handle will be in there? I use my glasses case and handle all the time, would be nice if they were there. I have read through the thread, just havent noticed a definitive answer.

BTW this would be a sunroof version for an 01.

I'm just going to take pictures of my headliner tomorrow and send them to the company and ask that they get some pics of their mold so I can verify the holes for everything.

The sunroof version will definitely have handles and space for the lights in the back. It will be a new mold for that headliner.

And Torrey, it will definitely fit an '01!

If possible, I'd like to know what kind of timetable will be good for everybody. I'm going to go ahead and ask the person with the stock sunroof headliner to get that shipped to the manufacturer and we'll get that mold made, so everything will be ready when we are!

Mine's in the same shape. It's got a big ol' bubble all around the storage bin up front! I'm hoping that the cold weather will slow the degredation, and that everyone will be ready soon.

Sound like a good combination?

The total cost will be $265, and that includes shipping. They'll be shipping in January, it sounds like.

I got off the phone with them a little while ago. I'm going to get pictures of the mold for the hardtop just to verify there won't need to be any holes filled in for the '98s. Also, I found out you can get it painted at their shop for an additional $100.

I'm going to start another "official" thread with the final details in a few days. It's going to be the first couple of weeks of next year when we'll get this shipping, so start getting the funds ready!

I got the pics of the mold that is used for the headliner without a sunroof. THESE ARE PICTURES OF THE MOLD, NOT A FINISHED HEADLINER!!!!! I was actually a bit surprised and knew I needed to pass this on to everyone.

As stated on their website, though I doubted it from the picture they had, this is indeed made for a '98. From the shop it will not have the holes for the lights in the back seats, nor the handle/glasses case over the front seats, and the storage bin in the front is currently sized for the clock in a '98. All of these can be cut out easily (I've drilled through carbon fiber accessories without any trouble) but I wanted those of you getting a hardtop version to know that a little work will be needed to have it completely ready for installation. There were only a couple that verified that indeed wanted one for a hardtop, but I want everyone to know. THE SUNROOF VERSION SHOULD HAVE EVERYTHING READY FOR THOSE PIECES FROM THE FACTORY!!!

Here are the pics I got from the shop. As I said, these are pics of the mold, not a finished product!
