Is this still going on because I looked at the company website and they were like $450. I have a sunroof and they also didn't show having a mold for one?

Sorry everybody, I was out of town 2 weekends in a row and haven't been on the .org in like 8 days!

The shop has gotten Jerry's headliner but I'm still waiting for money from a few more people. I'm getting ready to send some more PMs out.

GreenGroovy, this is still going on and they will still be $260 if you'd like to get in on it. They don't have a sunroof version yet but we're getting it set up for them to have one made just for us! Let me know through a PM if you're interested.

Fear not, all, this is still happening!

Is it too late to add me? Mine is sagging as well. It is a grey cloth. But black would look xtra super - unless I did a tie dye fabric.

Can anyone point me to a gallery where I could see some f-glass headliners on parade? My cloth liner is starting to droop and this liner sounds like a possible permanent fix.

The only picture I've seen of this company's product is the one I posted at the beginning of this thread. I think it's .org member BeetleBoy that has one from a different company, but I don't even really remember all-encompasing pictures of it.

If you do decide you'd like one of these you can send me a private message and I'll get you on the list!

i just redid the headliner in my beloved Buckwheat ,, for under $30 ,,joann fabrics had a coupon for 40% off 1 fabric cuttiing ,, and they have the headliner fabric for $13 a yard ,, so i picked up a 2 yards of gray (darker than stock ) and a can of 3m headliner spray glue and went to town ,, looks great except where i pulled too tight and seperated the material from the foam in a couple spots around the front bulkhead,, but i figure its buckwheat ,,he suppose to looked ragged anyways

Hey thanks. I did think about doing it my self like you did. I should just bite the bullet and do it...but I keep coming up with ideas for custom fabric and cant choose...

I should just stick with grey probably and be safe.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier, haven't been on the 'net in a while again. The hardtop version is actually made for the '98 roof, so it would be a direct replacement for you. If you decide to order this rather than do it yourself let me know soon.

Thanks!

Default Still time to get in???

My daughter has a 2000 Beetle and the fabric on the sunroof sliding cover is falling off. I'm not sure if replacing it with this would even work but I don't know what options I have. The VW dealership is estimating over $700 to fix it. All I know is that the orange garbage falling out of it is making a huge mess.

Any updates on the Sun Roof version? I have a 2000 with sun roof and this headliner sounds good.

Two questions:
  1. Is it too late to get in on this group buy?
  2. Once and for all, does it or does it not fit the '98 without grab handles or lights?
