Default Head gasket set w/ head bolts, an orphan tire, and timing belt changes :-)

Hi all:

Just listed this head gasket kit and head bolt set as a package deal on Ebay and thought I'd give everyone a heads up. It's for a 2.0L, 1998-2001 (so an AEG motor). This Fel-pro brand kit has an OEM VW head gasket and Viton valve stem seals, so it's good stuff, even if it ain't "Made in Germany" I'm also throwing in a new dipstick tube.

Trying to get $89 for it..... got the bidding started at $49.99. New, the cheapest price I can find online is about $120. Opened, but guaranteed all there.

Also, I have one 225/40/ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sport with about 70-80% tread left, if anyone is interested in having a spare - would like to get $35 for it (it's like $225 new). I had bought it for $70 (actually a pair for $140) but then Costco ground too much material off of the other one when doing a patch which destroyed the tire - so I had to buy a pair of new tires - leaving this one by itself. Sure could be a life saver if you are running 18's and you have a tire go and are short on cash

Also, still doing timing belts for 2.0L and 1.8T's... $250 for 2.0L and $275 for a 1.8T. Latest one was an Audi TT (AWP motor) last weekend. That is labor only - bring your own parts. It will take 4-5 hours but where I live is within walking distance of 2 museums and tons of antique stores, restaurants, etc... so you'd find plenty to do to kill 5 hours, especially on a Saturday.

I'm northwest of Atlanta in Cartersville.

Thanks!

Justin

Hi all

Just a quick bump to let you know the auction ends today - I did a starting bid price of $49.99 and no one has bid yet, so you may be able to pick up these parts brand new for less than half price.

If the triple layer exhaust gasket doesn't sell, but the head gasket kit does, I'll just throw it in for free.

Thanks!

Justin
