Sorry but, they do not come in different colors. Only black
You would have to paint it what ever other color you need.
As far as a list go's. There isn't one.
If you are interested in buying one of these mounts.
PM me and I'll tell you what to do next.
Thanks for your interest,
MiG

I got mine yesterday (it was a big bright spot on an otherwise very dark day).

I am using this mount bracket for the Droid in the photo: Amazon.com: Amzer Swiveling Air Vent Car Mount for Motorola Droid A855 (Black): Cell Phones & Service

IT works perfectly!

(hehe, notice my super cool CD player in my 1998? )

I may have gotten mine from there, I am convinced it didn't cost me but $12 to $14 for the vent mount; $19.99 seemed steep but I didn't check to see where I actually got it from. (I did have to dremel a hole into the tab on the left of the vent mount for the headphone port to be usable).

For whatever reason, your notched have held the mount in place all day and i've used it extensively. I don't think I will need to drill. This is really an awesome masterpiece and I can't thank you enough... such a life saver!

I currently have an iPhone 3GS which I am trying to mount in my NB. I am using a Griffin "WindowSeat" mount right now, and it utilizes similar ball joints that look very similar to this Garmin bud vase joint. Have you any idea if this will fit, if not, is it possible to give me a dimension for the ball joint to see if it is the same size? Would greatly appreciate it.

It's stated earlier in the thread. It's a 17mm, which is the Nuvi/standard(??) size mount. Some iPhone accessories use 12.5mm balls, so it's questionable if it'll fit.

Chances are the chinese knock offs will be 17mm and "Made for iPhone" licensed things will likely be 12.5MM (so that they can't be cross used with other mounts for Nuvi, just my guess...Apple and it's sanctioned third party suppliers like their closed loop).

If you buy one and it does not work I'd be happy to take it off your hands. The easy way to test this is find someone you know with a Nuvi, or go to Best Buy and ask if you can look at the Nuvi mounts, and see if your iPhone mount attaches.

That's how I tested my Droid mount.

Hey Mig, I've got an idea for you.... for those who have the Tom Tom navi systems....

All we need is a flat spot to put the suction cup to... so would it be feasible to create an arm with a rouded flat spot instead of the ball?

Just curious....

Flat top you say?

Can it be trimmed down to the thickness of a ScanGauge instead of a round top?

I already use the Garmin Friction mount for my GPS. I like something for my ScanGuage which I had for two years and still in the box.
