Not mine, I spotted this on Craigslist I think it's a Blue CC
2005 vw Beetle new - as parts only -

Yes, it is a BLCC. Curious as to why it was parted out. The damage didn't look that bad to me.

On the listing it says the NB was bought for the engine:

I PURCHASED THE CAR FOR THE ENGINE AND STEREO, AS IT HAD MINOR FRONT END DAMAGE. THE ENGINE, RADIATOR OR CONDENSOR WERE NOT EVEN DAMAGED.

I guess all he originally wanted was the engine. Oh and the stereo. Must've had a bumping system.

Just as a warning, make sure you're VERY SPECIFIC with this dude about parts you want. Include pictures if you have to (I know I did).

I called this dude asking about some small random parts (not rocket science) when the posting first went up. I tried my best to describe what they were and location. He started stumbling and finally asked me if this number was a good number to call back on. Haven't heard back yet.
