ok, i got these from hollywood about 3 months back. well i decided not to put them on because of the road quality around here. looking to sell them for a resonable price. have rent comming up soon and need the cash. i cant remember how much i paid for them so make an offer.

Hey, you got any pics of these things? I'd be alot more interested if I knew what they looked like. Are they similar to the spoiler fins that they sell on TMtunings site?

yes those are them. mine are in raw unpainted form. they are fiberglass and come kinda rough from the distrubutor. i have the instalation instructions and hardware that hollywood provided as well. i can try to get some pics but i dont have a digi cam. cell phone pics are all i can do right now.

Not to steal the thread, because by no means do I mean to do that, but do these serve a purpose? Or just looks? By looking at them I would think they deflect rocks and things but I don't know. I might be interested if they do though....

they will fit the turbo S with some modification. im not quite sure what those modifications are but a few pple have them on "S"s i actually have an "S" and was going to put them on.

i dont think they make any for the 09s

honestly i think they are just for looks, but when they are on the car it looks like they might help with directing the airflow around the sides of the car. i have no clue as to any benefit you may gain from them being on the car asside from looks. they may also help deflect rocks but again, i honetly dont kno.

As far as our beetles are concerned, I think they're just for looks. HOWEVER, The splitter and the term splitter is well known and used in the racing circuit, i.e. NASCAR and others. In the racing world they do serve a purpose- I guess I could Google the actual areodynamic purpose of them, but I'll leave that up to you all and not hog this thread.

Yes they're functional and serve a purpose
On the nB, not too sure.

Hope that helps
