You live in Tampa??? Cool. I'm seriously thinking about getting the front and rear door panels, minus the switches from you. I'll need the handles though. I'm in Jacksonville, but i'm down there quite a bit and can hook up with you. I'll keep you posted.

Just a heads up - I purchased a handful of parts from the member "seven" who then had to pass the info to a new account on the forum named "rsharitz". Unsure of what that was about but I think it's a smoke screen. Long and short I asked for the power window switches and a power window motor. One of the power window switches I received was broken internally. I notified both accounts and only received a reply from "seven" who said that it must have broke in shipping and that I would have to deal with UPS. He has refused to reply to my explaniation of the exact condition of the part.

Surprisingly the package was well wrapped, and the switch in no way could have been broken in shipping because it's internally broken and missing a spring. This is not something that could have possibly happened in shipping and this member is selling junk and refuses to deal with it. BUYER BEWARE don't make my mistake.

In his defense, I've purchased about 6-7 things from him as well, and everything was in great, if not awesome condition. A real pleasure to deal with, and I was given ridiculously cheap prices.

You can buy my switch right now on eBay, it should be ending around this time tomorrow. It's at $11.00 as of now.

I believe I also said you could ship the part back, which you choose not to do. You also said you disassembled the part, which I feel void's any sort of refund on our end. Lets not mention that shipping was more than what you paid and you blatantly demanded "bonus" screws and clips free of charge, which were sent no questions asked with your order. All parts sent were in working order when removed from the vehicle. If there was something in particular you wanted me to check you should have mentioned that. As far as why you're dealing with rsharitz, the parts are at his house. Not to mention he's much better at taking care of shipping/receiving than me. It's a team effort turning this beetle into a road race car and that happens to be part of his effort.

If anybody is intrested in the parts he post's up please send him a pm, he does not check the threads. I do on occasion, but I can miss something and not get the question to him.

There wasn't much to take apart, the switch cover was not even clipped on anymore, I simply popped off the cover that noticeably crooked and discovered the switch was broken inside and missing the spring. I don't know how you didn't notice this. You do realize sending you back the defective switch already exceeds the value of a WORKING switch. I appreciated the bonus clips and screws but if you felt my approach was blatant by simply asking for them you should have refused or put a dollar amount on them. I waited almost two weeks for you to get a shipping quote, and if you got it wrong don't point the finger at me. I also had to pay over $30 on brokerage fees due to your method of shipping that I haven't said a word about. I had plenty of replies on this board of people more than willing to sell the same parts, but I chose to wait and took a risk sending you unsecured funds without knowing the quality of the parts.

Long and short here, I paid for something and I expected to have it all in working order. I'm disappointed with the way the situation has been handled but at this point it's not worth any further hassle or argument. Future potential buyers can use this information at their discretion.
