Any idea if I can just slide out my monsoon with cassette and put this in and it magically works or would more be involved? I always wondered wtf VW was thinking still using a cassette player in 2003. I haven't owned a cassette since the late 90's. If so I will take it!

Yeah pretty sure its just plug n'play.

I had a 2003nb and it worked in mine!

What does the CDP stand for, since there is another button for the CD player...does this player have an auxilary input? Could a Sirius radio access the CDP, whatever that is?

CDP is the internal player, and CD is for the changer if you have one.
