FS - Genuine New Beetle RSI Shiftlight Module

Extremely rare item! Normally only available with proof of ownership of a New Beetle RSI from Volkswagen.

This is the shiftlight module that sits between the tachometer and the Speedometer on New Beetle RSI

Does NOT come with alloy faceplate.

This is only the electronic module with display LEDs and wiring harness.



Will work with any V6 Mark IV VW petrol engine...I had it wired into my Mk IV R32 for a brief period.

Item was purchased brand new.

I do not know if it will work with a four cylinder correctly, as it may display at the incorrect rpm (i.e 6 cylinder vs 4 cylinder tach signal difference)

I can supply a copy of the factory wiring diagram to assist in wiring it up.

All required connections were available in my R32

Also has other connections for the RSI Starter Button if you wish to retrofit one of those as well.

Looks pretty cool when it starts - lights go up in sequence then all flash and they count down again. Also has a dimmer connection for night driving.

First green LED comes on at 5150 rpm
Second green LED comes on at 5400rpm
Third LED comes on at 5650 rpm
Fourth yellow LED comes on at 5900rpm
Fifth yellow LED comes on at 6150 rpm
At 6400 the large red shiftlight comes on

Module is 51 mm x 40 mm x 19.5 mm with a 25 cm harness attached.
