Default Lots of New Parts for sale! APR, Neuspeed, K&N, R-Line, VDO, Glowshift!

So, now that Sting is gone, it's time to sell off the rest of the stuff that I had bought, and didn't get to install yet.

Items Still for Sale

  • New Glowshift 7-color tinted series gauge + Pod
  • New K&N RX-4730 X-Stream Air Filter + adapters
  • New VDO Vision Series Gauges + Oil pressure sender + LED volt regulator + Perfect Match LED's.
  • New Thermostat & Thermostat Housing
  • MTX BUG10 Thunderform enclosure (will take a 10" subwoofer)
  • Custom Engine Cover

Pictures and details below.
At this point, prices might be flexible. Lets talk. I just need to sell it all, need the money and have other projects to work on.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First off, is my custom engine cover. I paid $300 to have it cleaned up, sanded down, modified (had the 20V Turbo portion stripped and filled), then matched to Double Yellow. Only issue with this, the guys did something funky with the epoxy used to fill the section where the old "turbo" logo came out of, and when the epoxy dried, it cracked a tiny bit in one section (I've taken pictures for you). So I'm taking offers on this one. I'm a photographer, and an audio nerd, so, will consider offers of.. stuff, or cash, for this engine cover.

Picture 2 (the tiny crack which you can ALMOST make out in Picture 1).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next, a Glowshift 7-color tinted series VOLT gauge + Glowshift metal gauge pod.. paid roughly $90 for these a year or so ago, didn't get to install them. The prices have dropped, so I'm asking $40 + shipping.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

K&N RX-4730 X-Stream air filter + Spectre stainless steel mini-filter ... bought these and paid about $100 for them, asking $60 shipped.

Default And, more stuff....

VDO Vision Series gauges + perfect match LEDs + oil pressure sender + LED voltage regulator. Paid $170 for these 2 months ago, asking $140+ shipping. The perfect match LED's ensure that these gauges will look *exactly* like your factory VDO-Made gauge cluster that is in your Beetle.

(more about Perfect Match LED's over HERE... 42 Draft Designs )

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And.. I think that's everything....

I know I have a spare stock airbox, and a spare gauge cluster surround sitting in the other room, but I think everything else is gone. Don't know what they are worth. Shoot me an offer if you need them.

Hm.. I just found another thing. I have a brand new thermostat and thermostat housing. They came as part of my Ultimate Timing Belt kit from ECS Tuning, but I'd already had a new one put on. So.. yah, They aren't worth much, but they are here if anyone needs

I need a set of gauges but I'm looking into a different direction for them so out of all that cool stuff, the gauges are one of the last things on my wanted-list

Cool Ultra Gauge

Did you keep your Ultra Gauge? I bought one and it doesn't work on my 2.5... I wish I could get some of these things you are offering, but there aren't any for my car... There isn't much for my car in general... I cant even get cool headlights...

I maybe interested in your yellow engine cover. I just happen to have a yellow beetle and this would make a nice match. When they painted the cover did they fill in the mounting holes? Just wondering since if the cover only attaches at the rear mounting location won't it vibrate and rattle?

Thanks for the info.

The 2002+ years did not require mounting screws. So there are no mounting holes at all. But this is for Show only... you cannot use this in a car with the engine on, or the paint will warp and the epoxy will mis-shape. You take it to a car show, pop your hood, set this in place, and let it shine. But I'm not sure how well that would work in yours since the mounting points are different anyway.

In mine, it has a rubber U-shaped grommet in the back that fits around a mounting point, and then on the bottom side it has to female rubber grommets that fit down over two male plugs that stick up from the engine.

I let my Ultragauge go with Sting. I'm going to get the newer version of the Ultragauge for my Ford. What happened when you tried to use the Ultragauge with yours? I know the setup can be kind of a bear.
