I don't know of any OEM purple seats. Maybe OEM, then painted or something?

My guess is they mean the seats are OEM but have been rewrapped. The only special seats I know of are black and grey turbo s seats and the color concept seats. There were blue cloth seats in some special cars. But never heard of purple and grey leather seats with a VW logo on it.
