Arrow FS: Custom shaved rear bumper with ATS Cord valence - $40 CHEAP!!!

I have an early model NB rear bumper cover that I'm willing to sell for dirt cheap! $40!

Ideally, I want this sold and PICKED UP by the buyer. (I live in Fox Lake, IL near the IL/WI border.)
I DO NOT want to ship this, as I do not have a good way to physically get this bumper to a shipping service (I drive a Mini Cooper now!).

NOTE >>> Instead of $40
I'm willing to take offers for any items you think are worth around $40.
Examples...
Jack Daniel's Whiskey Single Barrel 94 (750ML size bottle)
$40 worth of fresh sushi
Xbox 360 games (let me know what you have)
Xbox 360 steering wheel controller
what do you have to offer you think is worth $40?!

SPECS.....
It's a modified bumper from a show car that I bought either here on NB.org or on vwVortex many years ago. I was going to put on my bug and repaint it, but I never got around to it. I no longer own a NB either, so it's USELESS to me!

Let me know if you're interested (either post in this thread or send me a PM), here are the specs....
  • It's an early style NB bumper
  • Modification 1: shaved corner lights
  • Modification 2: shaved license plate hole
  • Modification 3: (now unavailable) ATS Cord rear valence hard mounted to it (not removable! I tried!)
  • Modification 4: The whole thing is green painted with multi-color metal flakes (looks like it was a Cyber Green bumper that was sprayed over with custom metal flake paint

I'm interested, but out of curiosity...where were you planning to put the license plate?

Sounds good. Please keep in mind that I will NOT ship this bumper. This is for sale to be picked up only.

The car it came from was a highly customized show car, it had the license plate frenched in to the hatch at a weird angle and the hatch emblem was also shaved. (Think late 1980's mini-trucks... not my style, but whatever!) My plan was to remove the Cord valence and mount the Mattig rear valence diffuser I had at one point (same thing that Smooth has for sale), and then mount the license plate above that.

I believe you are thinking of an Elgin Bluebird, right? I've never heard of a Huffy Bluebird.

I never really got into collecting balloon tire or pre-war bikes. I primarily collect muscle bikes (late '60s through late '70s hi-risers, choppers, 20/16).

I'm selling my vintage bikes and vintage bike accessories too if anyone is interested!

Ahhhhh..... BlueBEARD! I misread your post and thought you wrote Bluebird initially! Sorry!

Nope, never owned a Bluebeard and I don't recall seeing one at shows (but I might have and didn't know it)! The only Huffy I ever wanted was the Rail, but they're hard to find.
