Default Key Fob Replacement Rubber

Hello all,

I've had my '98 NB for just over 8 years and it's served my family and I well. It will turn over 275,000k probably by the end of the week!

Aside from the airbag light which has been on for about 4 or 5 years (I found a fix for that - don't run into things!), the only issue I have is with my key fob. I took it apart and cleaned it all out with electronic cleaner - it works perfectly. The buttons, however, are a different story - the rubber is pretty much non existant. I'm sure I saw the rubber pad for sale on the internet somewhere years ago - when I didn't need one!

I'm sure someone on this fine site must know where I can buy just the rubber piece that replaces all four buttons. It looks like it's one piece that goes in from the inside.

I sure don't want to spend $100 to replace a remote that works fine when all I need is the rubber.

Thanks in advance, from the Great White North!

I have seen these on e-bay motors I'm sure. I can't access e-bays website from my work computer or I would post the link for you. Pretty sure if you do a search on there, it will come up though.
Good luck,
Barb

I looked all over E-bay this afternoon...I could only find two people selling the replacement rubber and they were both for the switchblade remote. I have the banjo style. I e-mailed one of the sellers to see if he can get what I need. Hopefully I'll here soon!

I bought a pair of eBay key fob rubber buttons, total crap it doesn't fit. Why not get a silicone cover?
