Cool My Hot Rod Shot

I had a senior portrait shoot today, and since the guy is into hot rods with flames, I thought I might call in a favor from my boss. After I got done photographing the senior, I shot a few frames for my boss.

I don't have a lot of details on this '40 Ford other than the flames were painted by Mike Lavallee of Killer Paint Airbrush Studio before he got famous for his "True Fire (TM)." His work has been seen on Monster Garage, Overhaulin' and Rides, and has worked with the likes of Chip Foose and Jesse James.

It was certainly a treat to see this show winning car up close!

My gawd, that looks like a printed graphic, not paint. Wow.

Great shots Justin!

Thank you both!

I wish I had more time to shoot it (I had to finish the shoot at our condo.) Maybe one of these days I won't have to work when he shows it.

JD, Awesome pics and the car is over the top.

I was at a car show in Brigham City Utah last month and caught a few shots of this 1923 T model with paint by Black Dog out of Provo. Details: 454 w/ 700hp, trans T 400 w/ GM 411 rear end. Owner is Larry Stephens.
