Default Baseball Stadiums

In honor of the season, I thought it would be fun to post some personal pics of our baseball stadiums. I think each stadium is very cool in its own way.

My homebase is Camden Yards in Baltimore, home of the O's. Here are some favorites.

1. Cal's number! Scattered around the Eutaw St. entrance are various numbers from some big players. They're about 4 feet tall.
2. On the left, the warehouse. On the right, the stadium.
3. Ye old warehouse. You can also see some of the other numbers on the ground.
4. Warehouse on left, museum thingy on right.
5. Yet again.
6. Looking on from the outfield.
7. The Baltimore Sun scoreboard. At the top on the left and right (R cut off) are little oriole birds that are supposed to show where the wind is blowing from.
8. From L-R we have: the bullpen, scoreboard again (that seating area below is very cool), the ball catching area, and below it is the scores for other games.
9. Again from the outfield.
10. Right before a big storm.
11. This one's for you Amy

Turner Field. Home of the Braves. Atlanta, Georgia.
These are all from the 2005 season. Gotta dig up some newer ones.

Are those seats behind plexiglass? That's no fun, you can't catch any balls that way!

Cool photos. Hopefully I'll get to attend some games this season, although I'm not an Angels or Dodgers fan...

While Jacobs Field is a nice major league park close to me where the Indians play I'd much rather go see the Indians affiliate minor league Aeros at Canal Park in Akron, Ohio. The stadium only seats 9,000 and I like the classic feel of watching baseball here. Every seat is close to the action and it is fairly priced. I didn't make it last year, but I'd like to go a few times this year.
