This is my first attempt at posting pictures, so if it doesn't work...please forgive me. These were taken about a month ago by a friend of ours. It is in Upstate NY, just north of Central Square on Hwy 11.

Absolutely beautiful!

Is it a bit scary driving through there?

Hmmm, that looks like it could have been taken here, i live right near there and am a meteorologist for that area, they got a lot of snow over the winter but i don't know. 11 feet fell in parts of Oswego county in the span of a week but this looks to be a great deal more than that, you sure they took these there?

They got 141 inches in Redfeild, NY, just east of Lake Ontario, in the span of a week, that's over 11 feet. I'm still skeptical of these pictures though.

I didn't actually take the pictures. They were sent to me by our friend who is a realtor in Skaneateles...so it is entirely possible that someone messed with them before sending them to her. I know some places got dumped on this winter...so I thought it was possible to have that much in places especially with drifting. We moved from Auburn last September and I sure am glad we didn't have to deal with all that this past winter.

YEah, that doesn't look like it did around here at that time. Auburn escaped from THAT snow, it was pretty much confined to Oswego, Jefferson, and Lewis counties due east of Lake Ontario.
