Those are some nice pics!! Where is this museum? I need to go there! I'm a total aviation nut (a pilot and I work at an airport). I just love those old planes with the huge radial engines. Nothing else sounds like that, it gives me goosebumps when one flies by!

I've always loved the GeeBee, and you got to see 2 of them!

What was the big flying boat that was there? Is that what you were inside of?

I think I got to see that balloon gondola in Seattle a few years ago. Was it the first round-the-world flight?

Yes and yes. I got to go inside the flying boat and the gondola was in an attempt to go around the world. There is info at their website. http://www.fantasyofflight.com/
The museum is in Polk City, Florida. I have a movie of a AT6 engine going. The file is too big now but I will fix it soon.
