5 Alarm fire destroys Furniture store

I was heading to work this morning wondering why we had a helicopter flying in the area for a extended amount of time. I came around the corner and saw a tremendous amount of smoke and realized a longtime furniture store was ablaze. I drove back up the hill to grab my camera as it's not everyday I get to witness a 5 alarm fire! The fire crews from numerous companies and multiple counties were able to save some of the warehouse, but the merchandise all had smoke and water damage.

The 66,000 sq/ft building had been the largest furniture store in Kitsap county. It opened in 1951 had more than likely been the source of some of the furniture that graced my home in the past. The building is about 2 blocks from our house.

Was the store open? No cars in the parking lot? Arson? Insurance arson?

Thanks! I was only 25 minutes late for work. I'm less than 2 miles from work.

There was talk about a Fire Sale however!
