I plan to shoot both color and B&W, currently my local shop only has B&W in 120 but they are expecting some color in soon. I'm going to pick up a couple of rolls tomorrow. When I get a few done, I'll post up my results.
Bummer about the 635, I hate to hear of any cameras getting damaged, especially a classic like that!
Do you guys shoot any other film cameras?
Here are some of my others...
Olympus XA 35mm, I've never shot this camera.
I think it's cool how the flash attaches.
Sunbeam 620, 220 film almost impossible to find, typically you have to take 120 film and respool it onto the 220 spools. Consequently, I have not yet shot with this camera.
Pentax Spotmatic 35mm, one of the first ttl metering systems. This camera shoots AWESOME photographs.
Minolta Maxxum 7000 35mm. This camera was my workhorse from about 1995 to 2003. I shot several thousand frames through this beast. Extended battery grip and program back. 2 cool things about this camera, after initial production of the Maxxum 7000, Exxon sued Minolta for the "crossed x" in Maxxum because it violated their trademark. The second is that it was the first to feature both Integrated Autofocus, and Auto Film Advance.
Kodak VR35, 35mm. Found this one in a second hand store for $5. Never shot it as I don't have the charger for the Lithium Battery.
Box camera, I have not yet identified the manufacturer or model, I have not shot with this camera although it appears to function properly despite some delamination of the front veneer and a missing trim ring in front.
Kodak Brownie II 8mm movie camera. Interesting thing about this is it actually used 16mm film that once you ran through a roll, you flipped the film and ran it through the other way, then the lab that was developing it would split it down the middle and splice the ends together. I have not yet used this camera.
