Default My Summer Road Trip.

Hey everyone! I'm very new here, but as well as being very interested in Beetles, i'm very interested in photography! I went on a road trip with my 19 year old brother and 20 year old cousin this summer(people said my mom was insane ) to Washington! It was so gorgeous up there, and I got some great pictures. :] We stopped at San Francisco too, and I loved it there! I'd love to go back, or eventually move there! Anyways, here are some pictures! I just have a regular digital camera, not a SLR, so hopefully they're not too bad!

I uploaded them on Flickr, though, so you can just have a look at my photostream. :]

I hope you guys like some of my pictures! :]

Nice pics! I used to live in Seattle and still live in WA so it's hilarious that you didn't know about the space needle. I love the greenery in Seattle but can't stand all the rain and traffic.

Oh, I didn't know you could do that! Too cool. :]

AH! I'm so jealous. I'd love to live in Oregon or Washington. I absolutely love the rain. The people who we stayed with were completely surprised that I had never heard of the Space Needle. :P But I blame my parents! I'm sheltered. haha. That was my first time being out of the state of California in 11 years! So I don't remember ever being anywhere else.

I went to California this past July for the first time. When we travel we usually travel down to Myrtle Beach or Florida, but my dad was working in Anaheim, so we decided to fly out there for a week. The weather was chilly . We left boiling hot weather here in Canada to go to California to wear sweaters Regardless of the airline troubles, luggage troubles, and weather we had an amazing time. I even got to meet up with fellow Versa owners from the forum I'm a member of. I can't say much about the traffic as I was pre warned to avoid the freeway between certain times. So as a precaution I avoided using any highway over there.

California weather is the weirdest! We had an unusually cool summer, most days only got up to around 82? But we paid for it in September and this month! My town in particular has had texas-like thunder/lightning storms with super high humidity and pouring rain, all while it's 100 degrees outside! It's been a SUPER strange year. :/
