Honestly , I really can't spend the energy trying to get my way on the Org. Some make a career of it. Its just really not that important to me. This is all just a recreational sideline.

I wont post anything at all. But thanx Justin for your open mind and your back up TJ.

Let Pete have his way and I'll take my ball and go home.

And yes, Gail is in an rare very bad mood. It comes with the reality of my life at this time......and no, I haven't lost my religion, I'm just as human as the rest of you.

Well, it's a shame you have to feel that way, and resort to such comments.

As I said, the whole purpose of this forum is to share pictures. I, as well as many others, would LOVE to see some of your work. There's nothing stopping you from posting it anywhere you wish in this forum.

Justin asked our opinions on the monthly assignments. I have just as much right to state my opinion as you do. We have different opinions, nothing wrong with that. I even gave some suggestions since our opinions didn't mash.

Oh well. Not much else anyone can do.

From looking at the poll results, seems the majority of the people who post in this forum had the same opinion of the monthly assignment poll as I had. But hey, you want to make this a problem with me, that's your right. Shame you gotta let a difference of opinion ruin the whole idea of the photography forum.

So how is it "ruined" Pete?
Did I kill it off in some way?
It seems to still be here.

Gail and Justin I agree with you. If it's your shot you should be able to use it. It's your idea or view, not your time we want. If you want people to go out NOW to take the pictures call it a field trip.

P.S.
I hope they find out soon what your problem is Gail. Hopefully it will be something easily taken care of.

I'm sorry. I meant that it's a shame you let it "ruin" the photography forum for yourself. Not for everyone.

You mentioned that since you didn't like my opinion , you were going to take your ball and leave.

Sounded like you were just going to leave this forum. So, my comment was that it's a shame you would leave a great area that you obviously have an interest in, just because people have an opinion about it that differs from yours.

I'm not quite sure what your beef is, seems like you have one with me, even though others have the same opinion that I do. If you'd like to PM me and discuss, you are more than welcome. I feel like I managed to state my opinion without giving a rather nasty attitude towards others.

Hope they find what's ailing yah, and you're in better spirits soon! And can continue to share your great photos!

Thanx for your concern. Me too! This is a new one on me. I am the one who runs circles around my family keeping things moving and they need me. The thought of heart desiese freaks me out! My husband is gone more than home so my kids (18, 14 & 11) are my care takers. I'll just do what the Doc says and hope. The worse thing is not knowing anything yet.

That was sarcasm. And I'm not really bashing "your" opinion, its just my POV.

Justin didn't spell out the guidlines in macro form, and he seemed to be flexible with the whole situation, so what was the problem?

To me you came across as the one representing the committee who was letting me know I had been voted off the island. I have a bad knee jerk reaction due to the meds I'm on too.
Now it really doesn't matter, really.

I don't want a tiff with you or anyone else here so I'll pass on the monthly assignments. At least until this fatigue is gone or a fancy digital camera falls from the sky into my lap.

Truce? Gail

I'm feeling the love from you guys.
I just woke up from sleeping 12 hours. This is too strange. My red blood count is really low and the Doc said thats why I am sleepy and have such fatigue. I hate this.

I'll continue to post in My Pix. I am going through boxes of pix and will post the one I like. I have to be still so there is not much else to do. My scanner is my new friend.

Best2U Tom, Gail
