May Photo Assignment: Flowers

April showers bring MayFlowers! (I don't know what rain in April has to do with pilgrims, but........)

Once again, thanks to everyone who participated in last months assignment! Great turnout!

Now get out there and lets see some flowers!

I'll post mine later tonight. I had to cook the wife dinner, so I couldn't shoot them at the moment!

I am so mad that I didn't do the water one. But I will try to join you guys here, I am not nearly as good as all of you... but I have been "lurking" on the photography thread and I think its time to add a few of my pictures.

These tulips were at the Bellagio lobby in Las Vegas:

Either way, it looks great!

Here is one, taken with my Canon Rebel 35mm Camera, Kodak 400 speed film, Black and White, of course.

Lens was a straight 50mm, nothing fancy.

Sequim Lavender Festival that we try to get to each year. If you like long walks, visit the Dungeness Spit Lighthouse!

The occasional sunflower pops up in a lavender field.

These have flowers too, they are in full bloom now in the Northwest US.

Borage Flowers are very pretty but can be quite prolific. Easy to pull however.
