Default June Photo Assignment Suggestion: Bugs

You know, like June Bugs? Just an idea.

(and that could mean real Bugs as well as VW ones!)

I get it! We get June Bugs here too. Ever fly one?

Oh please don't make me hunt down bugs. My daughter had to do a science project in biology which called for a display of 50 species of insects. Don't make me go there man, don't go there.....!!!

What about "summer" as the theme. Maybe the sun or sunlight.

Could range from a child covered in a melting popcicle to people on the beach to anything that helps us escape the heat. Even watermelon, yum!

Just my 2 dibs

A close up of a dragon fly...which is a bug. This was shot from a very, very long distance away.

Nicely done TJ. Don't cha love them zooms?
I LOVE dragonflies....its my logo
Here are a couple.
One sepia toned and hand tinted, the other shot a few weeks ago. They used to freak me out as a kid, now they are amazing to see.

Hey, what if we did BIRDS!

I guess that is two votes for "Bugs."

What does everyone else think? Voice your opinion so we can get great turnout like we have had the last two months!

NO! I don't want to do bugs! (see post #2)

I don't think I could hunt down another insect unless I was starving. But I'll go with the almighty Justin.

I don't care what the subject is, as long as it's easy for lots of people to shoot photo's of.

Bugs, as insects, are tough.

Birds are tough unless you have a bird feeder or something like that.

New Beetles, as in Bugs, I'm sure lots of us could shoot. Not sure if we could get enough "variety" with them.

I'm still open for subjects!

How about Images of Summer.

June 21st is the Summer Soltice.

Leaves more to the imagination.

Not everyone's view of summer will be the same due to location.

I can already see Watermelon!

Hey, that is a wonderful idea...but I have to admit, that 'bugs' is not just for the insects, but cars, computer bugs, (okay, that may be a stretch)...

I'm just glad that the idea is being discussed.

How about bugs on bugs. These dead bugs are from my gtg last week.. I've been to busy to scrub Herbie. The idea about summer would be good, just because we all live in different area's...

Let me offer up a suggestion in the form of a photo.....

This is my grandaughter Addy Mae having a blast in the "wet" sand box with her 3 brothers.

how about...since June is the 6th month, things with 6 in them (the number, quantity, etc.)

or since it's the month of Father's day..something to do with Parents/Fathers.
