Texel, March 10-11 2007, The Netherlands
To put this GTG in a nutshell.
It was AWESOME! The people who organised this are just great!  We've toured the whole island, we've visited a cool little museum filled with stuff found on the beach (we call that activity 'jutten', therefore Juttersmuseum). While touring we were stopped by the police..  they let us go thank goodness, pics will be posted as soon as possible  The local newspaper met us at the lighthouse. I'm curious what the reporter will write... To start off, here are a few pics taken by some members of the Dutch NB club:     One of my favourites. A pic taken by Jeroen of Bud driving to the lighthouse (so it seems...  )  The sun is setting  And this is what you do when you park in a row (see previous pic), then you all get out and take the same pics  Do you notice me behind Bjorn? Pics taken by me this time
On the ferry, Gilbert asked the guys if we could all park seperately on the side of it. And we could! As far as you can see 'round for a reason'!
    Welcoming cake and champaign  Giftbasket made by the 2 women who had organised this weekend with their husbands  Game for Friday night. Gran Turismo 4 (Playstation), the winners received a prize.      No sheeps on the dike at this part. Soon after this picture was taken, we were stopped by the police As soon as that pic is posted on the Dutch NB site, I will post it here... This is what you call 'jutten'     My mom and I  Prizes to win for nicest NB! Made by the father of Monique (wife of Gilbert)  Banner made by Benno   Today (Sunday) we went to Ecomare and saw how the island is surrounded by wildlife, like seals.  Going home

Police vs New Beetle Club Holland
 We were driving below the dike on a piece of road where you're not supposed to drive If they wanted to give us a ticket, it would have costed EUR75 for each car. About 20 cars were present....

What a fantastic looking weekend! I love the pics of all the Bugs on the ferry. I guess they will float, in a way!
The shots with the cops sure do add to the charm of the GTG. I like that he blocked your path by coming the other way. Someone should have cited him for going the wrong way. Thanks so much for sharing!

The reason I guess why there are usual so many people at our GTG's is because there are a couple of people who are ALWAYS present and we live kind of close together. Small country you see It's like a hardcore bunch that is always at a GTG hahaha
