Retro Event 2007, Oct 27th Limburg, The Netherlands
This year the last Retro Event was held in the south of The Netherlands.
In the southern part of the province Limburg. An area which is very narrow, with Belgium on its left and Germany on its right. The countryside is beautiful. Woods, hills and lovely little towns with cute (and old) houses. Lots of castles and abbeys. And it's an area where two beer brands have their factories, Brand and Gulpener. The meaning of this Retro Event is, that retro cars participate. Obviously the New Beetle, but also the PT Cruiser and the New MINI. There were about 31 New Beetle, 24 PT Cruisers and just 1 New MINI (the guy got an applause for attending  ) aaaaand there was also the new Fiat 500!  I didn't get a picture of it, but perhaps someone else did. The new Fiat 500 isn't sold yet in Europe, but the Belgian owner was able to import it from Italy (which is Europe???  )Here are a few pictures, I didn't get to take much    There were quite some spectators

  Jeroen and his wife Sonia played a videogame. Guess who won?   At the parkinglot at Snowworld in Landgraaf (it's an indoor ski slope)    The Tiroler bar, or beerstube, whatever you like to call it  Even a family from France came , they own a new NBC and I've already met them in Switzerland One of the ski slopes (there's one on the left as well)    This is all I have It's been a wonderful day

WOW!!!
you guys had a real nice turn out. we had a similar run in with pt cruiser guys in niagra falls Canada 3 years ago. there was a big PT show the same weekend as our june jitterbug event. it was cool seeing the streets littered with v-dubs and PTs. what was the temp. there? looks maybe cool, but comfortable.
