Default GTG At My Lodge, Memorial Day Weekend

We had a small gtg at my lodge in the mountains of Northern Central PA. There were supposed to be a mixture of VW's there...but 3 of them had problems on their way up. The Rabbit's engine seized. The GTI threw a CEL, and the Golf broke down 3 times. But, the Beetles, and my husbands' GTI made it! Hope y'all enjoy the pics! (silver2001beetle is the other owner of the silver bug.)

The Bugs on the bridge

At the Salem Church

In the Salem Cemetary

The 'War Why' Billboard in Mansfield

Scenic Views from the lodge

(This was an old schoolhouse. The blackboard is still there!)

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Haha, nope, it's not a log home! Believe it or not, our lodge used to be a mansion...twice before. Both mansions burned down. So, my family took the remains of the mansion and built our lodge there instead. It sleeps 22 people comfortably. It's actually a lot bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. It has a fairly large covered porch & a car port attatched to the house that can fit 2 cars. The mountain we have pictured behind the storage house, outhouse, and the 2 Bugs inbetween, we own that side of the mountain. It's GREAT for snowmobiling & 4wheeling!

Thanks Callisto! Randy (the silver bug) and his girlfriend got better shots than I did!

FineExampl...hmm...I'm not sure about that. Is that near Morris, PA? (Tioga County)
